Privacy Policy

About this policy
Solitaire Buzz (the “App”) is a solitaire game with mini-games, daily challenges, and matches against other players. It is made by Beebs Games, LLC, which does business as Beebs Games (“Beebs Games,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains what information the App and our website, https://beebsgames.com, collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
If you have a question about this policy or your information, email us at info@beebsgames.com.
The short version
- Solo play needs no account. Your progress and settings are saved on your device. If you use iCloud, they are also backed up to your own iCloud account. We cannot see that backup.
- If you play matches, you sign in with Apple and we create a player profile. We keep your Honey balance, match information, and purchases on our servers so we can pair you with opponents, keep scores fair, and keep your Honey safe.
- The App shows ads, unless you buy “Remove Ads.” Our ad partner may use your device’s advertising identifier, and iOS asks your permission first where required.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone. We do not use third-party analytics services.
- Game Center is optional. If you sign in to it, the App sends your leaderboard scores and achievements to Apple. Our own servers do not receive your Game Center information.
- You can delete your account from inside the App.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Display name, avatar, and frame. The name and cosmetics you choose for your player profile. Names are checked against a word filter.
- Sign-in information. If you sign in with Apple, Apple gives us a unique identifier for you. We do not ask Apple for your name or email address. We never see your Apple ID password.
- Messages to us. If you contact support, we keep your message and email address so we can help you.
Information created as you play
- On your device: scores, game results, level and experience, power-ups, the items you own, daily challenge and streak progress, Friend Fest progress, and your settings.
- On our servers, if you are signed in: your Honey balance and a record of how you earned and spent it (this includes limits on how much Honey can be earned in a day), your profile, and your match information.
- Match information. Which matches you entered, the deal, when you started and finished, your moves, your score, pause time, results, and prizes. We keep your moves so our server can replay your game and check the score. Your opponents’ names, avatars and frames are shown to you in the same way yours are shown to them.
- Moving your Honey to your account. The first time you sign in, you can move Honey you earned on your phone (up to 500) into your account. We record that this was done so it can happen only once.
Recorded games and ghosts
When you play a match, we may keep an anonymous recording of your finished game: the deal, your score, how long it took, and how your score grew over time. It has no name and no account information attached, and it is not linked to you. We may play it back to another player as a “ghost” opponent, always labeled as a ghost. You can stop us from keeping your games this way at any time in Settings, then Online play, by turning off “Keep my finished games as ghosts.” This applies to games you finish after you turn it off. Recordings already kept cannot be traced back to you, so they cannot be found and removed later.
Information from your device
- Device model, iOS version, App version, language, time zone, and the approximate region your IP address suggests.
- Your IP address, which our hosting provider logs, and which we use for security and to prevent cheating and fraud.
- Crash and performance reports. Apple may share reports with us from people who have agreed to share diagnostics with developers.
Purchases
Apple processes all payments. We receive transaction identifiers and the products you bought, never your card or payment details. If you are signed in, the App sends Apple’s signed receipt for each Honey purchase to our server, which checks it with Apple’s certificates and then adds the Honey to your account once. We use these records to deliver what you bought, restore it if you reinstall, and prevent fraud.
Advertising information
If you allow it, our ad partner may collect your device’s advertising identifier, your IP address, and information about the ads you see and tap. See “Ads” below.
Notifications
Reminders (the daily challenge nudge, a warning when a streak is at risk, and a short hello if you have been away for a few days) are set up on your device and stay on your device. We do not send them from our servers. If you allow notifications from matches, we keep a device token that Apple gives us, so we can tell you when your match is ready or its result is in. You can turn notifications off at any time in your iPhone’s Settings.
Game Center
Game Center is Apple’s gaming service, and using it is optional. If you are signed in to Game Center on your iPhone, the App sends Apple three leaderboard scores (your total wins, your fastest win time, and your longest daily streak) and your progress on achievements (such as your first win, a fast win, or a daily streak). Apple connects these to your Game Center account. The App reads your Game Center nickname only to show it to you in Settings. It does not send your nickname, your Game Center identifier, or this information to our servers. The App keeps a few small counters on your device so it does not send the same score twice. We do not use your Game Center friends list or messaging. If you are not signed in to Game Center, nothing is sent. Apple’s handling of Game Center data is described in Apple’s privacy policy.
What stays with you, and what we do not collect
Settings and solo progress are stored on your device, and backed up in your own iCloud account if you have iCloud turned on. That backup belongs to you and Apple, and we cannot read it. We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or health data.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- run the game: save your progress, deliver items, and let you restore purchases;
- run matches: pair you with opponents, deal the same cards to everyone in a match, check and score matches, and keep rankings and Honey balances accurate;
- keep the game fair and safe: detect cheating, bots, fraud, abuse, and offensive names;
- show ads and measure how they perform;
- fix crashes and improve the game;
- answer your questions and give you support;
- send notifications you have allowed;
- follow the law and enforce our Terms of Use.
3. Ads
The App shows ads between games and offers optional videos you can watch to earn free Honey. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Our ad partner may collect and use the information described above to show and measure ads.
- Your permission. Where the law or Apple’s rules require it, the App asks before ad partners track your activity across other apps and websites. On iPhone, that is the “Allow Tracking” prompt. If you say no, you will still see ads, but they will not be tailored using your activity in other apps and sites.
- Europe and the UK. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, the App shows a consent form for ads and similar technologies before any are used for personalization. You can change your choice later in the App.
- Change your mind any time. On your iPhone, go to Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Tracking.
- Remove Ads. If you buy “Remove Ads,” we stop showing ads between games. Optional videos for free Honey stay available.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described here:
- Service providers who work for us. Supabase hosts the servers that store player profiles, Honey balances, and matches. It may use the information only to provide its services to us.
- Our ad partner. Google AdMob receives the advertising information described in “Ads.” Under some laws, this can count as “sharing” personal information for advertising. See “Your rights” for your choices.
- Apple. Apple handles purchases, sign-in, iCloud backup, Game Center, and push notifications under its own privacy policy.
- Other players. In matches, your opponents can see your display name, avatar, frame, and the match results. Please do not put personal information in your display name. Ghosts show no name. If you use Game Center, Apple shows your Game Center nickname, profile picture, and scores to other players on its leaderboards and achievement screens, under your Game Center settings.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may share information if we believe we must by law, to protect someone’s safety, or to stop fraud, cheating, or abuse.
- If our business changes. If we merge with or are acquired by another company, or sell the game, information may move to the new owner, which must honor this policy.
- Information that does not identify you. We may share summaries or statistics that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
5. Children
Solitaire Buzz is meant for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Before your first match, the App asks you to confirm that you are 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the age at which a parent’s consent is required where you live).
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at info@beebsgames.com, and we will delete it.
6. Your choices and controls
- In the App. Settings lets you turn sound effects, music, and haptics on or off, turn reminders on or off, choose a left- or right-handed layout, and choose whether empty match seats may be filled with ghosts.
- Your account. In Settings, then Online play, you can sign out, stop your finished games from being kept as ghosts, or delete your online account.
- On your device. You can change tracking and notification permissions in your iPhone’s Settings at any time.
- Game Center. You can sign out of Game Center in your iPhone’s Settings, under Game Center. The App then stops sending scores and achievements. You can also change who sees your Game Center profile in the same place.
- Restore purchases. Settings has a “Restore Purchases” button.
- Contact us. Email info@beebsgames.com to ask about, correct, or delete your information.
7. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland
You have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent you gave us. We use your information where we need it to provide the game you asked for (to perform our contract with you), where we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting the game, where the law requires it, and where you have given consent (for example, for personalized ads). You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law
You may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for advertising, and not to be treated unfairly for using these rights. We do not sell personal information for money. To limit advertising use of your information, turn off tracking in your iPhone settings, or decline the tracking prompt.
How to use your rights
Email info@beebsgames.com. We may ask you to confirm it is you, for example by asking you to sign in to the same account. We will answer within the time your local law allows (usually 30 to 45 days). You can use an authorized agent to make a request for you. If you disagree with our answer, you can reply to ask us to review it.
8. How long we keep information
- Account, Honey, and profile data: until you delete your account. When you delete it, we remove your profile, balances, and Honey history. Backups expire on a schedule, within 30 days.
- Match records: when you delete your account, any open match entries are ended and your entry fees returned where the match had not started. Records of finished matches are kept without any link to you, so that other players’ results stay correct.
- Recorded games (ghosts): kept without any link to you, as described above.
- Purchase records: transaction identifiers are kept without any link to you after you delete your account, as long as the law requires for tax, accounting, and fraud prevention.
- Server logs, including IP addresses: kept by our hosting provider for a limited time for security.
- Game Center: scores and achievements you send are kept by Apple under its own policy. Deleting your Solitaire Buzz account does not remove them. You can contact Apple about your Game Center data.
- Support emails: kept for up to 12 months after we resolve your request.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.
10. Where your information is processed
Our servers and service providers are located in the United States (our primary database is hosted in the West US (Oregon) region). If you use the App from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in those places. Where the law requires it, we use approved safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make an important change, we will tell you in the App or on our website before it takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the most recent change.
