On your iPhone or iPad. If you turn on iCloud Sync in Settings, they’re also kept in your own private iCloud so your other devices stay up to date. Names, amounts, memos and receipt details are encrypted on your device before they’re stored in iCloud. We never have a copy.

Go to Settings, then Backup, then Back Up Now. Choose a password and save the file to Files or iCloud Drive. Keep the password safe: if you forget it, the backup can’t be opened, and we can’t recover it for you.

Tap the receipt button when you’re adding an entry, then scan the receipt with your camera or choose a photo or PDF. Everboox reads the vendor, date and total and fills in a draft entry for you to check before you post it.

Open the entry and tap Void. Everboox posts a reversing entry that cancels it out, and you can then post the correct one. Posted entries are never deleted, so your records always show what happened. That’s how proper books work, and it’s what your accountant will expect.

Yes. Go to Settings, then Companies, then Add Company. Each company has its own accounts, entries, receipts and reports, and you can switch between them from the Dashboard.

No. Everboox keeps your books and produces the reports a tax preparer needs, but it doesn’t provide tax, legal or accounting advice. Always consult a qualified CPA or tax professional before making financial or tax decisions.

Unfortunately not. Backups are encrypted with your password on your device, and we never see it. If iCloud Sync is on, your books are still on your other devices and in your iCloud.
